Our Story
Sparky wasn’t just any dog. He was Riccardo’s best friend.
So Riccardo wanted to find a healthy treat his best friend would love. It needed to be all-natural, it needed to be preservative-free and above all, it needed to be tasty.
He searched high and low, to and fro, even hither and yon, to no avail. Finally, he stopped searching and started baking. And the story of Snicky Snaks had begun.
Riccardo enlisted co-worker and fellow entrepreneur Jason to help concoct the perfect dog treat recipe. For weeks and weeks, the partners tweaked the ingredients, but Sparky turned his nose up at every batch.
Until one dark and stormy April evening...
On the verge of giving up, they placed the latest treat in front of Sparky. He eyed it suspiciously. He gave it a couple of good sniffs. Suddenly his tail began wagging furiously, and Riccardo and Jason watched as he gobbled it down and begged for more!
They had found the perfect recipe!
They began baking these premium quality treats by the hundreds in Jason’s kitchen (rumor has it Jason was quite fond of the treats as well). They named their all-natural treat Snicky Snaks. And ever since, their mission has been to bake delicious, healthy dog treats for every dog as if they were baking them for Sparky himself.
After all, when your dog is your very best friend, doesn’t he deserve the very best treats?
